All through training camp we have heard nothing but positive feed back and high reviews of 3rd round pick Chris Godwin. This Saturday he gets to show why he’s been getting those comments as the Bucs will most likely be sitting Pro Bowl WR Mike Evans.
Last year the Bucs WR position was a weak point and other than Mike Evans and Adam Humphries there wasn’t much for Winston to target. Step in D-Jax and now Godwin and the position has become a strength. Godwin showed he can produce at the college level with 2 years of over 900 yards receiving and 18 total touchdowns in 3 years, now he gets to show us Buc fans what he can do in the NFL. He’s shown little glimpses with one catch for 14 yards in the Bengals game and 2 for 30 yards in the Jaguars game but Saturday against the Browns may be his big showing out in front of the home crowd.
